Jessica Jamison, MA
Practicum Trainee

Jessica brings approximately eight years of experience providing caregiver training and behavioral support to individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of developmental disabilities and diagnoses. This work has given her a strong appreciation for the value of individualized, person-centered care and the important role that caregivers, families, and professionals play in supporting meaningful change.
Jessica believes effective treatment begins with building a trusting therapeutic relationship and understanding each individual within the context of their family, environment, developmental history, and support system. Her experience working in home, clinic, and community settings has strengthened her ability to meet clients where they are and adapt interventions to their unique needs, strengths, and available resources.
A significant focus of Jessica’s work has been helping individuals build functional skills, increase independence, and strengthen communication and social engagement. In psychotherapy, she incorporates these experiences through a compassionate, collaborative approach that emphasizes skill development, emotional awareness, coping strategies, and practical tools for growth. She is committed to helping clients identify their strengths, overcome barriers, and make meaningful changes that enhance their well-being and quality of life.
